No. Although pulling dogs from local shelters is our first priority, we also rescue dogs who have been orphaned for other reasons.
Senior dogs are those 8 years old or older.
Once you complete a foster application on our home page, a member of the rescue will reach out. There are no "special requirements" just an open heart and home. (The rescue covers all medical expenses while the dog is in foster.) A background check will be run for anyone over the age of 18 in the household.
This rescue is a 501(c)3, funded completely off of donations.
If a dog is taken into our care and is determined to have a medical condition that will expectedly end it's life within 1 year or less, it will be put into hospice care. The rescue will assume care until is passes.
Yes. Our fees range from $150-$300 depending on the amount of vet care that has been provided and if ongoing care will be needed.
